Ellie Bragg grew up in Monroe and graduated from Monroe High School. She received her law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ellie is licensed in North Carolina and in the federal court in the United States Western District of North Carolina.  Upon receiving her law license in 2015, Ellie joined a local private practice focusing her work in Criminal Defense, Family Law, Civil Litigation and Personal Injury work. In April 2019, Ellie joined her practice with Tee Leitner.

Prior to graduating law school, Ellie was a student attorney with the NCCU Domestic Violence Clinic, the NCCU Juvenile Defense Clinic, Wake County Public Defender’s Office and the Union County District Attorney’s Office. Ellie previously served in each officer position with the Union County Bar and she is active with many local and national non-profits and organizations. Ellie lives in Monroe with her husband Will and their son. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an avid Tar Heel fan.
